On July 22nd our ladies took to the field in a game against the Cincinnati Sizzle. Although they fell short of a win, our ladies left it all on the field and poured their hearts out working together to overcome the many obstacles throughout the game. Week 36: Carlie M. (carliemanners) is currently the head coach for York Region's women's tackle football team and the Offensive Line Coach for the 2023 provincial U18 women’s tackle football team. She also plays on the UofT contact-flag football team in the OWIFA. She is passionate about equitable access to sport and equitable experiences in sport, which comes from her extensive experiences in sport as a Black queer woman. A thrilling & exhausting 24 hours at the dawksports midnight madness tournament, but always WELL worth it!✨ Wolfpack competed in both women’s touch & flag divisions from 11pm -7am, as well as the Co-ed division the next day. We started the evening strong winning the women’s A level touch division.🥇💸 Up next was the women's flag tournament which resulted in our second A championship game appearance of the night!
