Interested in enjoying the great outdoors, while connecting with friends in a fun environment? Touch football might be just the game you're looking for. Whether or not you choose to play touch football recreationally or competitively, enjoy the opportunity to work with six other teammates to move the ball down the field to score a touchdown.
The sport of touch football is well supported by local, provincial and national sport organizations who offer a wealth of playing, officiating and learning opportunities.
Ontario's provincial touch football organization. For fifty years, Touch Football Ontario (TFO) has worked hard to provide support to touch (and flag) football players. They are a unified voice for the sport throughout the province. TFO also helps organize tournaments that allow Ontario players and teams to equitably compete and interact with one another throughout the province against other provincial teams and at the national level. This means recreational players get the chance to play more competitive touch football at the provincial and national levels. The TFO also helps to promote the many local touch football associations operating throughout the province.
National touch football support. At the national level, Football Canada helps to provide a national voice to touch football and makes available the latest edition of the Touch Football Rulebook at a cost of $10. This Rulebook also includes the rules for wheelchair touch football.
