Congrats to Amanda Balson - @16racer - for a great effort at last weekend’s @sunsetspeedway 30 lap @oscaarracing Fall Velocity Hot Rod feature event. Amanda got off to a great start on Saturday and qualified for a pole position for Sunday’s main event. When the green flag dropped to start Sunday’s race, Amanda immediately took the lead in the first lap but mechanical challenges quickly forced her pit side. Her crew got her back in the race where she restarted in 26th place. And, with tenacity and determination, Amanda passed 15 cars in 27 laps to finish in 10th place. If you’re looking to catch Amanda in action on the oval, there are still two races left in the #OSCAARRacing Series - @delawarespeedway and @flamborospeedway - over the next two weekends.
