On Easter Weekend 2022, Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary members from across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) attended the Pet Expo taking place at the International Building taking place in Mississauga. Members encouraged the public to secure their pets while driving, to reduce the distraction of a pet loose in the car, and to provided added protection to their pet in the event of an accident or collision. The members handed out K9 cards and colouring books to the kids and answered questions about the OPP Auxiliary.
Finishing each day with a few extra pet hairs on their uniforms, the Auxiliary members were all smiles and enjoyed the chance to interact with the community at this fun family event and hopefully make our roads and public a bit safer.
