Kick off. Huddle. Line of scrimmage. Snap from centre. Slant. Reception. Touchdown. Conversion.
Just some of the parts, places and process of playing touch football that we had the chance to watch and photograph while taking in some of Central Toronto Touch Football League Sunday afternoon games at Skymark Park in Toronto in early June. The plays were planned and the movements methodical. Everyone on offense had a particular place to be and a specific move to make. In turn, the defense worked hard to read the offense to disrupt the offensive play and prevent the forward movement of the ball down the field. Completed passes, touchdowns, turnovers, interceptions and incomplete passes were the outcomes of everyone's efforts. Enjoy our #seewhatshecando highlights and experience why so many women love to play touch football with their friends in the park on a Sunday afternoon.
