A perfect warm and sunny September Saturday greeted the players of Aurora Ladies Softball Association (ALSA) who arrived at Town Park in Aurora, Ontario to begin their first games of the weekend-long Championship Tournament. The League's four teams were scheduled to play each other throughout the day to determine which two teams would play in Sunday's Championship final and which two teams would find themselves in the consolation round final. All four teams came to play and compete for top spot regardless of how they had placed in the League's regular-season standings. SeeWhatSheCanDo had the chance to capture some great softball action in the tournament's first two Saturday morning games. We're excited to highlight the hustle of players around the bases, the sweet swings happening in the batter's box, the heat pitchers were throwing over the plate, and, of course, the fun everyone was having on and off the field.
