SeeWhatSheCanDo to partner with Team Inglis for the 2023-2024 curling season

Aurora, Ontario - With the 2023-2024 competitive curling season just getting underway, SeeWhatSheCanDo (SWSCD) is excited to announce their continued support of elite level women’s curling in Ontario.  To that end, SWSCD is very pleased to launch a new partnership with Team Inglis, a high level competitive curling team with both national and international curling experience and is currently ranked 25th in the world and 11th in Canada. Team Inglis is led by skip Danielle Inglis and includes vice Kira Brunton, second Calissa Daly and lead Cassandra de Groot.

“Our new partnership with Team Inglis continues our efforts to shine a light on the high level athletes who compete to be their best in the sport of curling and to build greater awareness around the efforts these curlers make to represent Canada in international play. Together we also want to inspire more women and girls to get into the game of curling and to help them experience the strong sense of social connection that curling provides at all levels of competition.” shared Caroline Wiley, President and Co-Founder of SWSCD.

For Team Inglis, the opportunity to work together with SWSCD this season is driven by their desire to be true to who they are as a team and to highlight the many great parts of the game. “We are thrilled to be partnering with SeeWhatSheCanDo this curling season. This organization aligns with our team’s values in supporting women in their pursuits of excellence and in connecting communities,” says Danielle Inglis, skip of Team Inglis.

Team Inglis got their 2023-2024 season off to strong start with an undefeated record at the St-Félicien Summer Series in August. This past weekend in Oakville, Ontario at the Stu Sells Tankard (and the start of the Stu Sells Series), Team Inglis made it to the quarter finals before they faced a “red-hot" Team Peterson.  Ultimately, they finished the event with a 4-1 record.  Team Inglis plans to head to th Shorty Jenkins Classic in Cornwall this coming week and then will wrap up the month of September at Curling Canada’s PointsBet Invitational event happening again in Oakville, Ontario at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex.
