200 top female hockey players will compete at the PWHPA's Dream Gap Tour in Toronto at Westwood Arena this weekend.
"This is about hockey in Canada and a long term strategic decision to build a sustainable league," said Jerry Dias, Unifor's National President at yesterday's press conference. “This tournament will highlight the phenomenal talent of elite, professional hockey players while raising awareness of the shocking inequality that women and girls experience in the game.”
