Made of steel. Fearless. Determined. Never quit.
These are just some of the words that come to mind to describe what we witnessed at this year's Canadian Ringette Championships hosted by Ringette Manitoba and Ringette Canada in Winnipeg. The best U16 and U19 teams from across the country, plus the top 8 teams from this year's National Ringette League came together over seven days to determine who would earn the national champion title.
The week's schedule for all teams was fiercely demanding; two games a day and then on to the playoffs to determine which teams would play in the championship and consolation medal rounds. The competition was intense, the speed of play incredibly fast, and the teamwork simply awesome.
