Elite competitive curling in Canada has a long and storied history in Canada. Over the years, the opportunities to play at the game's highest level have grown from primarily entering local, regional, provincial and national championships to today having the chance to compete in multiple professional curling tours where teams now have the opportunity to earn sometimes significant prize money.
