This weekend's (Friday October 18 - Sunday October 20) RAM Rodeo Tour Championship Finals at the Royal Canadian Riding Academy in Newmarket, Ontario marks the grand finale of the 2019 RAM Rodeo Tour where the best of the cowgirls and cowboys of Ontario's rodeo tour compete to be called the best in seven different disciplines including barrel racing, pole bending, and the roughstock events of Bareback Riding, Junior Bareback, Saddle Bronc Riding, Junior Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding, Bull Riding.
"Over 500 cowboys and cowgirls have competed in 7 rodeo disciplines all year for their chance to battle it out at Championships. The top competitor’s from this year’s tour will compete for 3 days, head-to-head for a chance to win over $50,000 in combined prize money over the weekend". RAM Rodeo Tour
Whether or not you've spent a lot of time around horses, this is a great event to see the amazing skills of professional rodeo riders in an exceptional indoor equestrian facility. Proceeds from the 2019 RAM Rodeo Tour Championship Finals will be given to Girls Inc. of York Region. Since 1979, this non-profit organization has been dedicated to empowering girls and young women ages 6-18 through mentoring and support programs. Trained professionals help to teach them leadership experience, build athletic skills, money management and so much more. Girls Inc. is committed to ensuring that girls and young women seek the highest quality of life possible.
50/50 Draws will be done on Saturday & Sunday throughout the rodeo to raise money. (Please note that this is a cash only event and ATM's are not available on site).
